About the Artists

Spyke and Fable form the collaborative team of DragonGlass. For the past 12 years they have been working together to create artistic imagery, through the medium of stained glass, that caters to their life-long love of all things science fiction and fantasy.


Spyke, an amateur graphite artist, has spent a lifetime dabbling in a variety of arts and crafts. Over time, she found her favorites to be the craft of stained glass, and the art of pencil drawing. Recently, Spyke has begun to expand her drawing repertoire into the arena of digital painting using Adobe Photoshop. Her sketches have provided the foundation for a number of DragonGlass’ stained glass patterns.


Fable, always believed she lacked the talent, though not the desire, for artistic creation. After a brief introduction to stained glass, she discovered a fondness and a flair for the medium, but dissatisfaction with store bought patterns. Immediately, she began working with Spyke to create their own unique designs. Years of working with Spyke using CorelDraw to translate their ideas and Spyke’s sketches into workable stained glass patterns, have given her the confidence to begin teaching herself to draw and dabble in Photoshop.

They have brought together their skills, talents, and imaginations to bring to life an ever expanding artistic portfolio which they happily share with others through the internet and through arts and crafts fairs around the country.
